Don’t be fooled by the title. This is a brilliant essay collection, NOT a self-help book on marital relationships.

True crime meets memoir in this exceptional exploration of abuse and its many forms.
Atlas of the Heart ⭑⭑⭑⭑
A roadmap for your emotions, but definitely not an on-ramp to the work of Brene Brown.
The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post ⭑⭑⭑⭒
While not necessarily magnificent, this historical fiction novel is certainly worth the read.
