My Reading Life

I’m a little book obsessed. I read 200 of them a year, give or take. I’m format agnostic, so print books, e-books, and audiobooks are all good with me. I’m a proud steward of my very own Little Free Library, which my husband built for me from scratch. I’ve been reviewing books on Goodreads since 2014 and am ranked as a Top 10 Most Popular Reviewer. It took some time to get there, but as I always say, pimpin’ ain’t easy.

My Work Life

I started my career with a dream job in the film marketing department at the Walt Disney Studios. Along with a team of marvelous mentors and colleagues, I got to work on national tie-in partnership campaigns with world-class companies like McDonald’s, Nestle, and Kodak (RIP). What an honor it was to help support the releases of iconic films like The Lion King and Finding Nemo! From there, I formed Confetti Marketing, LLC and started freelancing as a strategic marketing consultant for super cool clients like 20th Century Fox, Sony, Paramount, Discovery, Snapfish by HP, Highlights Magazine, and Candy Crush Saga. In other words, big pimpin’.

My Home Life

I live in the Midwest with my 5-star husband Dan and our beloved pets. My favorite title is “Aunt Regina,” and I absolutely adore our extended family and circle of friends. When I’m not reading or working, I’m probably thinking about reading or working. But at the same time I may also be going for a long walk, experimenting in the kitchen, doing a puzzle, or laughing at inappropriate things on the internet. This is the no pimpin’ part of my life, and I love it.
